Breast Aesthetics

What is Breast Aesthetics?
Breast aesthetics encompasses surgical procedures performed to correct the size, shape, or symmetry of the breasts. This aesthetic procedure aims to enhance both women's physical appearance and self-confidence. Breast aesthetics operations can be performed for different purposes, such as breast augmentation, reduction, and lift (mastopexy).
How is Breast Aesthetics Performed?
Breast aesthetics procedures are performed by experienced cosmetic surgeons in a sterile clinic or hospital environment. Before the procedure, the patient undergoes a detailed examination to determine which procedure is appropriate.
Breast Augmentation: Silicone or saline implants are used to increase breast volume. The surgeon places the implants under the breast tissue or under the muscle.
Breast Reduction: Large and heavy breasts that cause discomfort are reduced and reshaped by removing excess tissue.
Breast Lift (Mastopexy): This procedure lifts sagging breasts and makes them appear firmer.
The surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia and takes between 1 and 3 hours. After the procedure, patients wear a special support bra or bandage. The recovery process varies from person to person but is generally quick.
